GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CANDLE

The first time you burn your candle, you have it lit for at least 2 hours, or until the melt pool hits the inside of the vessel. Every time you light the candle after, burn until the melt pool has re-established itself to the edge. This will prevent tunneling. Burn times vary depending on temperature of location and air flow, try to keep away from AC units and fans.

TRIM YOUR WICK

Trim your wick every time you light your candle. If you are experiencing problems with smoking or your wick staying lit, it usually means your wick needs a trim. Wicks should be kept at 1/4" at all times. Your wick should be trimmed every 4 hours of burn time. This helps keep the flame the appropriate size for safety, and the longest possible burn time.

SAFETY

To prevent fire, burn within sight. Have distance from things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Burn on heat safe surface. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across container not exceeding 4 hours. Keep wax pool free of debris. Avoid drafts, AC's, and fans. Never touch or move a hot candle with your bare hands!

Putting out your candle

Try to always use a proper candle snuffer to extinguish your candles as this will prevent the wick from moving and wax from spilling. This will also assist in maximising your burn times.

CLEANING & RECYCLING

One of the many benefits of coconut wax is that it is easy to clean with soap and water because of how soft it is. If you experience a spill of melted wax, don't worry, just clean it with warm water and soap!
